OpenAI Acquires Pharma Co Orchestra Bio to Build AI Agents for Drug Development

OpenAI has acquired Orchestra Bio, a platform that helps biopharmaceutical companies coordinate drug development programmes, as the company expands its AI tools for life sciences research. OpenAI has not disclosed the acquisition terms. The acquisition will bring Orchestra Bio’s team and technology together with OpenAI’s Rosalind, a suite of AI models and tools for life sciences researchers.
