Dallas firm Disruptive closes $10bn fund to back AI and defence startups

Disruptive, a venture capital firm based in Dallas, has raised a $10bn fund to invest in AI, defence and software startups, Bloomberg reported on Tuesday. The new money roughly doubles the assets the firm manages. Disruptive plans to back about 10 late-stage companies, putting around $1bn into each.
