Google Pay Launches in Nigeria With Support for Four Banks

Google has launched Google Wallet and Google Pay in Nigeria, allowing eligible Android and Wear OS users to make contactless payments in stores, within apps and online using supported bank cards. The rollout gives Nigerian users another way to pay without carrying a physical card. Through Google Wallet, users can add eligible payment cards from participating financial institutions and tap their phones at contactless payment terminals.
