Meta unveils AI funding plans

Meta Platforms recently unveiled plans to secure up to $95 billion in equity to fund its AI-related expansion ​of data centres and cloud computing. These efforts look to be backed by chipmakers Nvidia, AMD and Broadcom. The social media company aims to raise $35 billion in concurrent underwritten public equity offerings and up to $60 billion as part of an at-the-market programme scheduled to begin in Q1 2027.
