ICEYE and Nokia to collaborate on Ukraine satellite project

Satellite communications partners ICEYE and Nokia recently signed a pact with Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence to develop sovereign satellite capabilities. This announcement comes amidst reports that the Ukraine is continuing to have issues with connectivity supplied by SpaceX. Partners ICEYE and Nokia inked a letter of intent for the project with authorities in the country on the 22nd October during a diplomatic visit of Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo to Ukraine.
